Who’s That Girl?

 

My Hair Love began in 2003 when I walked through the doors at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After graduating from the University of St. Cloud with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, I needed a medium to express my desire to help people feel better about themselves. After graduating with my licensure in Cosmetology and Massage Therapy, I joined Cole’s Salon as a Stylist. Through hard work and determination, I reached the Advance Stylist level within two years. This opened up the opportunities to take further education courses such as the Bumble & Bumble Straight Razor Training Course, Aveda/Jon Raymond Cutting Class, Wella Training with Josh Banks and many others. To further my career, I attended Bumble & Bumble Network Education Program in New York and continued to do so annually. As a Network Educator, I teach classes within the Cole’s Salon network related to various topics such as product knowledge, styling and cutting.

My career now has evolved to Freelance Artist where I now rent a suite at The Phenix Salon and Suites and love it!  I specialize in all cutting, wet, dry and straight edge razor.  I am fearless in adapting to all hair textures and hair challenges that may arrive in my chair.  I also love to color hair, all over color with splashes of bright vibrant hues or beautiful natural looking blondes or the most up to date coloring techniques and styles.  I am happy to work with what your hair dreams are and create them together.

Finally in addition to working behind the chair I offer onsite wedding and special occasion hair styling.  I find great joy in working with Brides and Bridal Parties to really help them feel special in preparing for their amazing day.  Proms and Galas are also a great time to fancy up and feel special so know I am available for just such an event.  I also found a need to educate those in the community thus offering “How to” classes that can be customized to meet your groups needs.  They can range from simple braiding and styling product knowledge to blow drying and how to get a curl to stay.
